TL;DR
A rare case of ruptured splenic ectopic pregnancy was misdiagnosed initially, highlighting the need to consider non-tubal sites in ectopic pregnancy diagnosis.
Contribution
This case report adds to the limited literature on splenic ectopic pregnancy and emphasizes diagnostic considerations for similar cases.
Findings
A ruptured splenic ectopic pregnancy was diagnosed after initial misdiagnosis as a tubal miscarriage.
Prompt imaging confirmed the diagnosis and led to urgent surgical intervention.
The case underscores the importance of considering nontubal ectopic sites when pelvic findings are inconclusive.
