Abstract
Background: It is crucial to predict the response to chemotherapy and identify prognostic markers for recurrence and survival in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), in order to effectively manage patient care. The CA-125 elimination rate constant K (KELIM) has recently been developed as a means of assessing the chemotherapy response and has been tested mainly in patients enrolled in randomized controlled trials.
