Abstract
Background/Objectives: Oral cavity wound recovery presents unique challenges due to constant moisture exposure and functional mechanical stresses. Nanoscale extracellular vesicles (exosomes) with regenerative properties offer promising therapeutic potential for tissue regeneration, contributing to improved health outcomes. This study evaluated human exosomal preparations in promoting oral mucosal regeneration. Methods: We established standardized full-thickness wounds in the buccal mucosa of SD rats and divided subjects into experimental (receiving 50 billion human exosomes) and control (receiving carrier solution only) groups.
