## TL;DR

This case report describes a rare complication of LASIK surgery where a corneal suture was needed to treat severe corneal swelling.

## Contribution

The paper presents a novel clinical approach using a suture to manage acute corneal hydrops after LASIK-induced ectasia.

## Key findings

- A patient developed acute corneal hydrops following LASIK surgery.
- A corneal suture was used to correct the condition and stop aqueous leakage.

## Abstract

Corneal ectasia is one of the main complications of keratorefractive procedures.
In this report, we describe a case of corneal ectasia after laser-assisted in
situ keratomileusis), which progressed with acute hydrops and aqueous leakage
and required a suture for correction.
