Abstract
Productivity in the leather industry is influenced by multiple organizational factors, particularly the work environment, employee motivation, and quality control mechanisms. Understanding the interplay among these variables is critical for improving operational efficiency. This study investigates the impact of the work environment on production output in the leather industry, examines job motivation as a mediating variable, and explores the moderating role of quality control practices (QCP) in this relationship. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among employees in selected leather manufacturing units. The data were analyzed using PROCESS macro Model 58 in SPSS to test the mediation and moderation effects.
