## TL;DR

This paper presents the full genome sequence of a plant pathogen causing leaf damage on a specific plant species in Taiwan.

## Contribution

The study provides the complete genome sequence of Xanthomonas euvesicatoria pv. polysciadis strain Pgu1PT.

## Key findings

- The genome includes a 5,129,423 bp circular chromosome with 64.8% GC content.
- A 53,818 bp circular plasmid with 62.1% GC content was also sequenced.

## Abstract

Here, we report the complete genome sequence of Xanthomonas euvesicatoria pv. polysciadis strain Pgu1PT, a phytopathogenic bacterium causing necrotic leaf lesions on Polyscias guilfoylei in Taiwan. The genome consists of a 5,129,423 bp circular chromosome (GC content: 64.8%) and a 53,818 bp circular plasmid (GC content: 62.1%).
