TL;DR
This study examines how residency applicants have gathered information about programs through virtual interviews over four years.
Contribution
The study provides insights into the changing information sources used by applicants during virtual residency interviews.
Findings
Individual program websites, EMRA Match website, and Instagram were the most commonly used resources.
Personal experience and mentor advice were less frequently used compared to online sources.
Findings suggest program leaders should focus on commonly used online resources for marketing.
