## TL;DR

This paper presents the genome sequence of Lathbury’s Nomad Bee, including a detailed assembly and gene annotation.

## Contribution

The paper provides a high-quality genome assembly and gene annotation for Nomada lathburiana.

## Key findings

- The genome assembly is 269.68 megabases long with 90.08% scaffolded into 15 chromosomal pseudomolecules.
- The mitochondrial genome is 29.04 kilobases in length.
- Ensembl identified 11,607 protein-coding genes in the assembly.

## Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of
Nomada lathburiana (Lathbury's Nomad Bee; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Apidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 269.68 megabases. Most of the assembly (90.08%) is scaffolded into 15 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 29.04 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly by Ensembl identified 11,607 protein-coding genes.
