Mary Bennett, Melissa Travelsted, Vickie Shoumake, Matthew Atkinson

TL;DR
A living-learning community improved nursing students' retention and success in college, helping more students reach their goal of becoming nurses.
Contribution
This study demonstrates that a living-learning community can positively impact nursing student outcomes and retention.
Findings
Students in the LLC had lower dropout and failure rates compared to those not in the LLC.
More LLC students were admitted to the BSN program and remained in college preparing to apply.
URM students in the LLC had better retention but no difference in nursing program admission rates.
