TL;DR
This study finds that unhealthy behaviors like smoking and skipping breakfast are linked to worse mental health in Albanian schoolchildren.
Contribution
The study identifies specific behavioral factors independently associated with multiple mental health indices in a nationally representative sample of Albanian schoolchildren.
Findings
Smoking and alcohol consumption are significantly associated with worse mental health scores.
Less physical activity and irregular breakfast consumption correlate with poorer mental health outcomes.
Daily fresh fruit consumption is linked to better mental health indices.

To assess the independent associations of behavioral factors with many mental health indices among children in Albania.
