TL;DR
This study evaluates VA pain rehabilitation programs to understand their structure, implementation, and outcomes for veterans with chronic pain.
Contribution
The paper introduces a mixed methods evaluation protocol for characterizing and improving VA interdisciplinary pain rehabilitation programs.
Findings
IPRPs are being characterized through program factors like staffing and services.
Data visualization will illustrate IPRPs as a system of care.
Patient-reported outcomes will be identified to measure program effectiveness.
