The Persian version of the RIBS was translated, validated, and shown to be reliable and valid for use in Iran.
Findings
The Persian RIBS (RIBS-P) demonstrated high internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha of 0.732).
Factor analysis confirmed a single-factor structure with strong item correlations.
Demographic factors like age, employment status, and education significantly relate to stigmatizing behaviors.
