TL;DR
This study validated a Hebrew version of a tool to assess how dental issues affect the quality of life of young children and their families in Israel.
Contribution
The Hebrew version of the ECOHIS was validated for use in Israel, providing a culturally adapted and reliable assessment tool.
Findings
Higher ECOHIS scores correlated with higher dmft indices, indicating worse dental health.
The Hebrew ECOHIS showed high reliability (Cronbach's alpha = 0.83).
Confirmatory factor analysis supported the two-factor structure of the questionnaire.
