In the version of this article initially published, in the fourth paragraph of the “Sex sensitivity analysis for meta-GWAS in the white population” section, in the sentence now reading “Notably, we identified three sex-specific genes: AKNA and WHRN were associated with total hip BMFF in males only, while VMPI was associated with spine BMFF in females only,” AKNA originally appeared as “ANKA.” The error has been corrected in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
