We proudly celebrate the fiftieth issue of the Journal of Medical Education and Professional Development (JAMP), which began operations in 2013. Since its inception, our mission has been to encourage authors to submit high-quality and innovative research to advance medical education. We have worked and continue to work alongside many experienced professors, committed editorial board members, authors, reviewers, copy editors, and dedicated staff.
In recent years, the number of articles submitted has significantly increased, covering a more diverse range of global authors. JAMP is an open-access journal that publishes original articles, reviews, letters, editorials, case reports, short articles, and more. All articles are peer-reviewed and free for authors. To date, approximately 500 articles have been published in various fields of medical education and professionalism.
The quality of the content published in JAMP has led to its indexing in reputable information databases at the global level, including PubMed Central (indexed since 2014) and the reputable Scopus index since 2020, along with other respected indices such as DOAJ, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, EBSCO, and more. Recently, it has also been indexed in the Medicus database of the World Health Organization in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (IMEMR).
In conclusion, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our dedicated readers and to announce that we remain committed to publishing articles that are not only credible for researchers but also valuable for students, professors, and health policymakers ( 1
- 3 ). Finally, we express our gratitude to all the authors who have chosen this journal to publish their valuable work, and we hope this collaboration continues in the future, as through the publication of credible authors' articles, we have been able to create valuable interactions that ultimately contribute to the growth and flourishing of the journal.
