## TL;DR

This paper discusses a rare skin condition called pyoderma gangrenosum that appeared on a child's lip and how it can be managed.

## Contribution

The paper highlights the importance of considering pyoderma gangrenosum in children with lip ulcers and suggests treatment strategies.

## Key findings

- Pyoderma gangrenosum should be considered in children with ulcerative lip lesions.
- Low-dose oral steroids may be needed for long-term management.
- Intermittent antibiotics can help if flares are caused by infections.

## Abstract

Pyoderma gangrenosum should be considered in the differential diagnosis of ulcerative lip lesions in children. Long‐term management may require low‐dose oral steroids. In cases where flares are triggered by infection, intermittent antibiotic therapy can be beneficial.
