TL;DR
A rare case of complete molar pregnancy is reported in a 50-year-old postmenopausal woman, highlighting the importance of accurate diagnosis in older patients.
Contribution
This case report adds to the limited literature on gestational trophoblastic disease in postmenopausal women.
Findings
Abnormal vaginal bleeding in a postmenopausal woman was found to be due to a complete molar pregnancy.
Diagnostic imaging and elevated B-HCG levels supported the diagnosis before surgical confirmation.
