Abstract
Change is HARD! People talking about the good ol’ days before smartphone and social media. But times have changed! The new generation has grown up with electronics. They have been able to access all information from the Web within seconds. So why do we struggle in hospitals to change to a virtual format for our education & learning materials? We know there is more up-to-date information, yet it takes time, money, and effort to swap out old references for new, or even to find where all that old bad information is hidden! BUT there is a solution... Virtual binders provide up-to-date information and education at the staff’s fingertips accessible from anywhere securely. The Nurse Educator created a virtual binder to house current information on current topics and new initiatives. All staff were taught how to use the platform, access from their phone, workstation or any electronic device.…
