TL;DR
This study shows that microneedling with vitamin C can safely reduce gum pigmentation and improve dental aesthetics.
Contribution
The study introduces a novel, cost-effective microneedling technique with topical vitamin C for gingival depigmentation.
Findings
Microneedling with vitamin C significantly reduced melanin pigmentation in all age groups.
The technique is safer and more cost-effective than traditional laser or surgical methods.
Irregular gum contours limited effectiveness in some cases.
