## TL;DR

This paper introduces a universal conservation law that connects the wave-particle duality of quantum systems with their entanglement in a quantum memory.

## Contribution

The paper proposes a new conservation law linking wave-particle duality and quantum entanglement using nanophotonic chips.

## Key findings

- A universal conservation law for the wave-particle-entanglement triad is theoretically proposed.
- The law is experimentally demonstrated using silicon-integrated nanophotonic chips.
- The results show a direct relationship between wave-particle duality and entanglement with an ancilla quantum memory.

## Abstract

Universal conservation laws of wave–particle–entanglement triad, which describe relations between the wave–particle duality of a quantum system and its entanglement with an ancilla quantum memory, are proposed and further demonstrated with silicon-integrated nanophotonic chips.
