## TL;DR

This paper presents an expert consensus on diagnosing and treating non-small cell lung cancer with MET gene abnormalities, including various mutation types and treatment strategies.

## Contribution

The 2025 expert consensus provides updated clinical guidance for MET-abnormal NSCLC, integrating recent evidence and practical experience.

## Key findings

- MET gene abnormalities include METex14 skipping mutations, amplifications, fusions, and overexpression.
- Targeted therapies for MET abnormalities show significant clinical benefits in advanced or metastatic NSCLC.
- The consensus aims to standardize diagnosis and treatment to improve patient outcomes.
