## TL;DR

The study examines C-reactive protein levels in Indian patients with acute ischemic stroke and finds their importance in assessing myocardial infarction.

## Contribution

The novelty lies in analyzing C-reactive protein levels specifically in Indian stroke patients for myocardial infarction evaluation.

## Key findings

- C-reactive protein levels showed significant differences in stroke patients with and without myocardial infarction.
- Assessing C-reactive protein levels is important for stroke diagnosis and myocardial infarction evaluation.
- The study involved 50 Indian patients with acute ischemic stroke.

## Abstract

Level of C-reactive protein among Indian patients with acute ischemic stroke is of interest in the management of myocardial
infarction. Hence, C-reactive protein levels among 50 Indian patients with acute ischemic stroke were measured. Data shows significant
difference with below and above levels of C-reactive protein among stroke estimated myocardial infarction patients. Thus, incorporating
C-reactive protein level assessments into routine diagnostic test is important for the evaluation of stroke.
