## TL;DR

This case report highlights the rare H syndrome in a diabetic child, emphasizing its unique features and treatment challenges.

## Contribution

The report provides new clinical insights into H syndrome's presentation and management in a patient with diabetes mellitus.

## Key findings

- H syndrome in an 8-year-old female presented alongside diabetes mellitus.
- Treatment challenges and lack of effective interventions for H syndrome are emphasized.
- The case underscores the rarity and limited understanding of H syndrome complications.

## Abstract

This case describes an 8-year-old female with H syndrome who came in with diabetes mellitus (DM), highly stressing the very striking
features of the clinical presentation and possible challenges that might intervene in its treatment. H syndrome is an autosomal recessive
disorder with scarce information on complications and possible interventions. As H syndrome is extremely rare, there are very few
treatment experiences and most of them are unsatisfactory.
