RETRACTION: CDKL5 Promotes Proliferation, Migration, and Chemotherapeutic Drug Resistance of Glioma Cells via Activation of the PI3K/AKT Signaling Pathway

TL;DR
This retracted paper claimed CDKL5 promotes glioma cell growth and drug resistance through the PI3K/AKT pathway.
Contribution
The paper originally proposed a novel mechanism involving CDKL5 and the PI3K/AKT pathway in glioma progression.
Findings
CDKL5 was reported to enhance glioma cell proliferation and migration.
The study suggested CDKL5 contributes to chemotherapeutic drug resistance.
The PI3K/AKT signaling pathway was implicated as the mechanism involved.
