Contribution
The QRL program offers a novel, structured pipeline model for building qualitative research leadership in LMICs.
Findings
The QRL program effectively increased scholars' knowledge, skills, and confidence in qualitative research.
Scholars demonstrated leadership by initiating postprogram research and mentoring.
Program evaluation suggested extending the program and expanding in-country mentor roles for better support.
