M. Zvereva, N. Zvereva

TL;DR
This study compares identity disorders in adolescents with affective disorders and schizotypal disorder using the AIDA+LoPF questionnaire.
Contribution
The study provides preliminary evidence that affective disorders are associated with more identity disturbances than schizotypal disorder in adolescents.
Findings
Adolescents with affective pathology show higher rates of identity disorders compared to those with schizotypal disorder.
Statistical analysis using the AIDA+LoPF questionnaire revealed significant differences in identity integration and coherence.
The findings suggest a need for larger samples and broader disorder ranges to confirm these results.
Abstract
To assess the difference in the personality functioning of adolescents with schizotypal disorder and affective disorders, we used the AIDA + LoPF questionnaires, which are well established as questionnaires for identifying identity disorders in adolescents. We hypothesized that adolescents with affective pathology are much more likely to have identity disorders than adolescents with schizotypal personality disorder. Clinical assessment of diseases was carried out by psychiatrists using ICD-10 Adolescents with affective disorders -10 (F31), schizotypal disorder adolescents – 11 (F21).
