Abstract
This retrospective study analysed the clinical efficacy, tolerability and treatment satisfaction of patients who switched from receiving palmitate paliperidone monthly (PP1M) to palmitate paliperidone six-monthly (PP6M) after 12 months of follow-up. A total of 48 patients (31 men and 17 women) with recently diagnosed schizophrenia were included. To assess the clinical efficacy, tolerability and treatment satisfaction in a sample of recently diagnosed schizophrenic patients who switched from receiving palmitate paliperidone monthly (PP1M) to palmitate paliperidone six-monthly (PP6M) The sample included a total of 48 recently diagnosed schizophrenic (1-5 years) from three Mental Health units in the province of Toledo (Spain).
