TL;DR
This paper presents a rare case of adenosquamous carcinoma of the gallbladder in a 74-year-old woman, highlighting the challenges in diagnosis and treatment.
Contribution
The novelty lies in the detailed clinical presentation and management of a rare gallbladder cancer subtype.
Findings
Adenosquamous carcinoma was confirmed via histopathology from gallbladder and liver biopsies.
The patient underwent palliative surgery and was planned for chemotherapy and chemoradiation per NCCN guidelines.
