Sally Moyce, Cassidy Crawford

TL;DR
This study tests if community health workers can effectively provide mental health support to Spanish-speaking individuals in a low-resource area.
Contribution
It introduces a pilot model using CHWs to deliver behavioral activation in a region with limited Spanish-speaking mental health professionals.
Findings
12 participants completed at least 10 BA sessions and all study measures.
Data analysis was completed in August 2024 with plans to publish results by October 2024.
Results will guide future mental health interventions for Latino populations with limited English.
