TL;DR
This study evaluates how to best teach nursing students about promoting physical activity in healthcare, comparing different educational approaches.
Contribution
The study compares bottom-up and top-down approaches for integrating physical activity-related health competence into nursing education.
Findings
Interventions were successfully implemented across all nursing schools in the study.
Bottom-up approaches led to varied intervention components per school, while top-down approaches followed planned units more consistently.
Effectiveness evaluation is ongoing, with implementation data showing differences in delivery methods between groups.
