S01-3: Developing a new physical activity outcomes framework for Scotland
Niall Taylor, Jennifer Love

TL;DR
Scotland developed a new physical activity outcomes framework to track progress toward reducing inactivity, aligned with global health goals.
Contribution
A revised outcomes framework and a locally adapted WHO physical inactivity reduction target for Scotland.
Findings
The revised framework includes eight delivery outcomes aligned with a 15% reduction in physical inactivity by 2030.
Baseline data from 2016 showed 36% of adults and 39% of children in Scotland were inactive.
The framework uses data from the Scottish Health Survey and Scottish Household Survey.
