TL;DR
This review protocol maps evidence on food and fluid intake during labor to understand its effects on labor outcomes.
Contribution
The study introduces a systematic approach to assess recent evidence on food and fluid intake during labor.
Findings
The review will focus on studies from 2013 onwards to capture recent evidence.
A scoping review will use PRISMA guidelines and Rayyan for duplicate detection.
Findings will include descriptive statistics and a narrative summary of included studies.
