PMC · DOI: 10.1111/jcmm.70048 · Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine · 2024-09-12

## TL;DR

This retracted paper claimed that SSRP1 promotes colorectal cancer and is regulated by miR-28-5p, but was withdrawn due to image and data errors.

## Contribution

The paper was retracted due to incorrect data and unauthorized submission, invalidating its claims about SSRP1 and miR-28-5p in colorectal cancer.

## Key findings

- The article was retracted because some images and data were mistakenly included from another project.
- The submission was made without consent from co-author Honggang Yu.
