Hypertension as an Underlying Cause of Headache or Dizziness and the Usefulness of Choto-San for Both Diagnostic and Therapeutic Purposes
Ryuzaburo Kanazawa, Noboru Kuniyoshi

TL;DR
This study shows that high blood pressure may cause headaches and dizziness, and a traditional Japanese herbal medicine called choto-san can help both diagnose and treat these issues.
Contribution
The study demonstrates that choto-san can be used to identify and treat hypertension-related nonspecific neurological symptoms.
Findings
Choto-san significantly improved symptoms with an odds ratio of 3.13.
Hypertension was more likely to be diagnosed in patients prescribed choto-san.
Choto-san was most effective for symptoms with underlying hypertension.
