TL;DR
This study examines the knowledge and practices of mothers in Bangladesh regarding COVID-19 prevention and finds significant gaps that could impact maternal and child health.
Contribution
The study identifies socio-demographic factors associated with knowledge and practices of COVID-19 prevention among mothers of under-2 children in Bangladesh.
Findings
Mothers showed poor knowledge and practices related to COVID-19 prevention, with low scores on transmission and preventive measures.
Education level, access to TV, and internet use were positively linked to better knowledge and practices.
Mothers in islands or wetlands had lower scores compared to those in inland areas.
