TL;DR
This study shows that an online tool with a media campaign can effectively detect excessive daytime sleepiness and narcolepsy.
Contribution
The study introduces a feasible online screening method for EDS and narcolepsy supported by a media campaign.
Findings
An online screening tool identified 30.1% of respondents at risk for EDS and 10.7% at risk for narcolepsy.
The screening tool was completed by 23.8% of those who opened the link, with most participants providing contact information for feedback.
