## TL;DR

A study found that a post-surgery diet rich in medium chain triglycerides (MCT) improves recovery and comfort for lung cancer patients compared to a regular diet.

## Contribution

The study introduces an optimized MCT-based diet regimen that accelerates postoperative recovery in lung cancer patients.

## Key findings

- MCT group patients had shorter postoperative anal exhaust time compared to the routine diet group.
- MCT group showed lower rates of dizziness and nausea/vomiting and higher hospital comfort scores.
- MCT-based diet reduced average hospitalization costs and improved biochemical indicators.
