TL;DR
This study explores factors affecting patient satisfaction in cosmetic rhinoplasty among Appalachian patients, highlighting rural healthcare challenges and suggesting strategies to improve outcomes.
Contribution
The study identifies potential disparities in patient satisfaction and outcomes between rural and urban populations undergoing cosmetic rhinoplasty.
Findings
Rural patients showed marginally lower satisfaction scores compared to urban patients.
Rural patients experienced higher rates of complications and re-operations.
Targeted interventions are needed to address geographic barriers and improve care quality in rural areas.
