TL;DR
A postmenopausal woman with lichen sclerosus and bleeding was found to have pyocolpos, a rare condition not previously linked to her medical history.
Contribution
This case is the first to report pyocolpos in the context of lichen sclerosus and postmenopausal bleeding.
Findings
The patient had pyocolpos associated with lichen sclerosus and postmenopausal bleeding.
Imaging showed a hemorrhagic cystic lesion and pelvic free fluid, leading to surgical intervention.
The condition may result from outflow tract obstruction due to lichen sclerosus.
