This is an Expression of Concern regarding: The relationship between sexual dimorphism and androgen response element proliferation in primate genomes, Evolution, Volume 76, Issue 6, 1 June 2022, Pages 1331–1346, https://doi.org/10.1111/evo.14483
In July 2023, the corresponding author notified the editors of the miscalculation of the correlation values between the Androgen Response Elements (AREs) and indicators of sexual selection as presented in Table 1. This error alters the interpretation of Table 1 and some of the findings in the manuscript. While the authors correct the correlation values and redo their analysis, the editors advise readers to examine the details of this study with care.
