Progress and Discussion of Perioperative Targeted Therapy in Patients with EGFR-mutated Resectable Non-small Cell Lung Cancer
SONG Peng, CUI Yong

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent advances in using EGFR-targeted therapies before and after surgery for early-stage non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR mutations.
Contribution
The paper provides a novel synthesis of clinical trial outcomes and discusses key issues in perioperative targeted therapy for EGFR-mutated NSCLC.
Findings
EGFR-TKIs have shown significant progress in postoperative adjuvant therapy for EGFR-mutated NSCLC.
Neoadjuvant targeted therapy is emerging as a promising approach to improve outcomes in resectable NSCLC.
Guidelines now recommend EGFR-TKIs for perioperative treatment based on recent clinical trial evidence.
Abstract
Summary of clinical trials of postoperative adjuvant targeted therapy Summary of clinical trials of neoadjuvant targeted therapy
