This paper reports a rare case of scalp metastasis from lung cancer and reviews similar cases to improve early diagnosis and treatment.
Contribution
The novelty lies in presenting a rare scalp metastasis case and summarizing 22 similar cases to enhance clinical awareness.
Findings
Scalp metastasis from pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma is rare and often misdiagnosed.
Early recognition of skin metastasis can improve patient outcomes.
A literature review of 22 cases highlights the importance of accurate diagnosis.
Abstract
Clinical characteristics of 22 cases
