Mary C Mitchell, Daniel Shults, English Gonzalez

TL;DR
A 34-year-old woman presented with neck pain and hypothyroid symptoms, leading to a rare diagnosis of subacute thyroiditis.
Contribution
This case report adds an atypical clinical presentation of subacute thyroiditis to the medical literature.
Findings
The patient presented with neck pain and hypothyroid symptoms instead of typical hyperthyroid symptoms.
Diagnosis was confirmed through thyroid function tests and physical examination.
Treatment with prednisone provided symptom relief when ibuprofen failed.
