Abstract
Impacted third molars often cause pain, infections, swelling, and functional limitations. This study is an attempt to assess impacted third molars-related symptoms affecting quality of life using standardised Nepali version of oral health impact profile-14 (OHIP-14) questionnaire. This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital from October 2021 to February 2022 after institutional ethical approval. Patients with impacted third molars were included by convenience sampling technique. Patients with psychiatric illness, taking psychotropic drugs, pregnant, and lactating females were excluded. third molars-related symptoms were recorded in OHIP-14 questionnaire.
