## TL;DR

This paper reports a case of a benign epidermoid cyst at the craniovertebral junction and discusses its diagnosis and treatment.

## Contribution

The paper presents a specific clinical case of an epidermoid cyst in a rare location and emphasizes the importance of MRI for diagnosis.

## Key findings

- Epidermoid cysts can occur in the craniovertebral junction and present specific symptoms.
- MRI is essential for confirming the presence and extent of the cyst.
- Total decompression is recommended as the primary treatment for symptomatic cysts.

## Abstract

An epidermoid cyst is a benign tumor in many locations. The symptoms of an epidermoid cyst depend on its location. The brain or spine MRI can confirm the lesion. Removing total decompression is the first choice in treatment with a symptomatic cyst.
