This study evaluates healthcare professionals' views on implementing routine height and weight screening for children and explores barriers to effective implementation.
Contribution
The study provides insights into the effectiveness of implementation strategies and prevalence of weight bias among healthcare professionals in a specific health district.
Findings

Healthcare professionals were confident in performing screening but less confident in discussing weight issues with families.
Barriers included lack of time, equipment, and appropriate clinical settings.
