Since 2017 Biology Letters has recognized the contributions made by reviewers who evaluated our manuscripts in our annual article of thanks. On behalf of the Editorial Board and editorial staff, I would like to once-again express my sincere gratitude to all our reviewers during 2023. This also includes any co-reviewers, who may have had their first experience of peer-reviewing though our manuscripts.
We are aware that most reviewers value recognition of their efforts by the journal and through services, such as Publons, which is integrated with Biology Letters.
