TL;DR
This study evaluates healthcare providers' knowledge and readiness to address environmental exposure concerns among Veterans, highlighting the need for better training and organizational support.
Contribution
The study applies the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research to assess provider needs and barriers in addressing environmental exposure concerns in Veterans' healthcare.
Findings
Approximately one-third of VA providers report low to no knowledge of environmental exposure concerns.
Most providers are ready to learn more about environmental exposures but have limited access to information.
Organizational priorities and culture significantly influence providers' ability to address these concerns.
