TL;DR
This study shows that a digital health platform called MyGut is accepted by IBD patients and may improve their quality of life, though long-term use remains a challenge.
Contribution
The study evaluates the acceptability, feasibility, and impact of a digital health platform for IBD management in a multi-center trial.
Findings
72.6% of patients were already using technology for health-related purposes at recruitment.
There was a significant improvement in SIBDQ scores after one year of MyGut use.
Only 42.9% of patients were willing to continue using the app after one year, down from 71.9% after two months.
