Abstract
Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a significant global health concern and a leading cause of morbidity and mortality. As a complex cardiovascular condition, CAD arises from the accumulation of atherosclerotic plaques within the coronary arteries, leading to restricted blood flow to the heart muscle. While CAD has been extensively studied, its prevalence remains a challenge, particularly in diverse populations with distinct cultural and lifestyle practices. Objectives: To assess the awareness of risk factors for CAD in the population of Al-Majma'ah Region, Saudi Arabia. Methods: The purpose of this cross-sectional descriptive study was to determine participants' awareness of CAD risk factors among the population of Al-Majma'ah Region, Saudi Arabia.
